Dear Friends,

DSC_4608On behalf of the entire Annual Shirts vs Skins Basketball Classic organization, I would like to welcome each of you and thank you for attending our Annual event. The rosters of teams and players participating in this year’s event will surely entertain not only the basketball purist, but the casual fan as well. In fact, there is a good chance that you will see some of these players advance far in the NCAA Basketball Tournament in a couple of years. This nationally recognized basketball showcase is one that you will look back on years from now and say that you first saw this player compete in the Shirts vs Skins Basketball Classic.

As founder of this athletic entertaining property, I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by such a great group of friends and acquaintances who believed in our vision to host an elite high school basketball showcase that also serves various aspects of the community. With your support, we have been able to host this event, which showcases incredible athletic talent, creates community awareness about diabetes, and allows mass communications students to practice their craft by covering and promoting this wonderful event.

In The People who Make it Happen section of this site, we recognize the people who make this event happen. The reality is that this event exists due to the assistance and consultation of people listed in the following departments: Committee Members, Team Liaisons, Public Relations, Journalists, Broadcasters, Photographers, Promotions & Tickets, Marketing & Publications, Social Media and Volunteers.

The Annual Shirts vs Skins Basketball Classic is a team of forward-thinking business leaders who want to make a difference in the community. Our plan moving forward is to make a positive impact on the youth and show them that if you surround yourself with good people throughout your journey of life, you can better your chances of succeeding in this challenging and competitive world.
